1509: New painting “Paws for Thought”

I have been doing this little painting for the last six months. I have been so busy with my Lady Captain’s duties at the golf club that today, Sunday 13th November 2016, for a bit of brain relief I decided to do a little bit of painting.

The idea for this painting came about when I had seen a couple of hares chasing each other about in Watts Wood [Comberton] and they both suddenly stopped. The imagined painting and title “Paws for Thought” came to mind [note not “pause”].

I am indebted to Dave Oates for supplying several photographs of hares which have helped me to portray the thoughts in my head.
