Painted especially for my Cambridge Open Studio exhibition at The Black Horse, Dry Drayton from 6th–28th July 2019. But I did not have time to get to know this little artwork as it sold just after I hung it up on Saturday (20th July 2019). The lovely couple who purchased it said they were buying it to complement another sunflower artwork they had purchased at the Cambridge Drawing Society Exhibition. They showed me the picture on their mobile (technology is sometimes very useful) and I agreed with them, that my little painting would sit well with the one they had already purchased. So off it went to its new home.
