This artwork was painted specially for a commissioned project for The Countryside Avon and Bristol CPRE entitled “The Hidden Hedgerow” (Artist Code 2303). The painting itself is stand alone, so deserved its own code number, assigned February 2025. I painted several separate elements to do with critters and plants in a hedgerow and these were digitally placed into the main hedgerow painting.
In November 2024, the painting will also feature in a book all about Fullers Mill Garden in West Stow, Suffolk to be published in June 2025 entitled Fullers Mill Garden A Jewel in the Forest. This was a project carried out between 2022 and 2025 by the Iceni Botanical Artists (IBA). So this is quite a popular little painting.
