COMMISSION. Artist Code 2002. “Regeneration (The Mighty Reed)”. Completed 30th January 2020. (Common Reed, Phragmites australis.) Painted on Aquarelle Arches 140lb cotton paper 16″ x 12″. Water colour.
Brief was to copy the photograph below which was taken by the Commissioner’s grandson. It was to be a unique 50th Birthday present for his mum.
The commissioner asked if I could also frame the work once completed and fortunately I had a solid light oak one available which I had commissioned for an artwork to have been completed in December 2019 – which is still unfinished!!!
